The Pride Coalition was formed In 2008, when the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce partnered with key organizations to facilitate coordination of events, resources, volunteers, and marketing across the entire LGBT community. The Coalition represents an unprecedented level of cooperation which will prove to make the community stronger by leveraging the economic resources of the Chamber; reducing operating costs, developing stronger programming and events, and enabling a strong, cohesive LGBT community.
